I will be supporting 100 users across 25 remote branches. Also, 50 users at my branch (HQ). I am essentially the entire IT department. I have some external resources I can lean on if needed, but for the most part all desktop, network, and server issues are on me. I need tools! I'm looking for some open source (or not) software to help me manage my calls, my resolutions, etc.
I essentially would like a simple way to create myself a queue system, that I can input user information and problems. Then also a solution system, so in the future I can search a Computer, or User, or Problem and find the solution I had previously.
Am I dreaming when I hope something like that exists? I'm down for a Macgyver type system too, if you have any ideas.
