WTF is up with the iSCSI initiator in Server 2008?

I have several iSCSI volumes on an OpenSolaris server that I use on Solaris 10.

Since Microsoft decided to remove the ability to backup to a network volume in their backup app, I created a small iSCSI target on my OpenSolaris storage server to perform these backups to.

Annoyance #1 After typing in the address of the target portal in the iSCSI initiator of Server 2008, it lists every target on that portal, regardless of whether or not they're in use. I'd prefer to log into the portal and specify the target I.D. manually, but fine, whatever.

Annoyance #2 Even though I've only connected to one target, Disk Management lists all the targets on the portal anyway.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
