I'm deploying our custom financial application to users (on Ubuntu), we were running NX(nomachine.com) as virtual desktops, but with NX going closed source, and some other insanities with them, I'm looking at deploying the app across VirtualBox instances (each user desktop would get their own virtualbox with Ubuntu). Is there an easy way to manage virtualbox instances remotely across a range of computers? Our user count would reach about 200 eventually.
Other solutions not involving NX (open source preferred) would be welcome. (printers and filesharing with desktop OS is needed both windows and mac)
