Our company uses a fair amount of small-business software: Peachtree Quantum for accounting, Commence for sales CRM, a home-grown PHP/MySQL app for tech-support CRM, RT for internal workflow tracking (IT, engineering, and sales order fulfillment) and various report-generation applications.
As the company grows into a medium-sized business, we are dealing with the limitations of Commence and (especially) Peachtree on a daily basis. There is also a growing sentiment that when we move away from these legacy systems, it would be good to merge as many workflows as possible into a single ERP-type system; there is currently no real integration between sales, accounting, support, engineering, project management and so on.
Recommendations? Management wants us to investigate Microsoft Dynamics. What else should we be researching?
