[Sanity check] Hosting a HA cluster in house vs cloud

So I am building a proposal for a potential client, and one of the things that they requested was HA for their servers. Here is the problem, they are cheap, and I know putting a 15k SAN on the proposal would kill it, not to mention all the software and infrastructure that goes with the SAN and cluster.

I have a relationship with a local business grade ISP that offers "cloud hosting" as well. They are fairly large and reputable, I trust them after touring their data center and seeing all the redundant systems they have. I am looking at 2, ~$750/month for a 2 CPU 4Gb RAM and 200GB storage, servers. This works well because they offer a connection as well that the customer wants. Since their service is all in the same data center, I am thinking latency will not be a problem.

So I will be hosting a DC (which will replicate to a on site DC) and the application server (accounting and business specific application) that the users will RDP into (or RemoteApp if the app supports it). This would all be connected via a IPSec 256bit AES VPN.

Local traffic for general internet usage would be on a separate WAN connection via a 20mb down 5mb up that is not HA, but is significantly cheaper than the HA connection for the cloud servers. The connection to the "cloud servers" would be a 10mb symmetrical connection with a SLA of 99.99% and all the fixings for ~$800/month.

Am I doing it right?
