I'll go first, because this just happened. I've mostly been out of end-user support for several years now, but occasionally I have to deal with the dreaded user.
I get a ticket that says a group of (internal) users is no longer able to log in to a customer-facing portal to test stuff for clients. It always worked just fine before, but it doesn't work at all now. And it is absolutely critical that this start working again for them immediately.
So of course, I start tracking down anything that could have changed in the system, looking at the logs, making sure accounts aren't locked or disabled. Can't find anything wrong. Contact one of the users that's supposed to be affected.
"Oh, I don't know if it ever worked this way before. This is the first time we've ever tried to do this."
