We currently run VMware ESX on rackmount servers for almost all of our stuff. However, the Network/Telecom team wants to virtualize their Cisco IPT (VoIP) stuff, and they're interested in the Cisco UCS blades running VMware.
Has anybody had experience with Cisco UCS? How does it stack up compared to your standard rackmount solutions?
Our environment has two 4Gb FC switches, 10GigE networking, and a Dell Compellent SC30 SAN.
Just looking for opinions/reviews.
