I would like to hear comments / suggestions / reviews on routers with 3g/4g backup. We're looking at some web based software for a location and trying to ensure we aren't down/down due to an outtage. While a T1 is going to have a much better SLA we're comparing against DSL w/ 3g/4g backup.
So far I've looked at:
- Cradlepoint
- Cisco's Products
- Found an extensive list of products here.
As a general fyi, requirements on the network side per office include:
- VPN (router or right behind router)
- Port mirror for IDS (handle in switch)
- prefer extensive monitoring capabilities
- no plans for VOIP between offices yet
Anyone with production experiences on the wireless backup?
