I'm looking at our running config on an ASA 5510 and it looks like all of our access control lists are using subnet mask instead of a wildcard mask... I'm new. Somebody explain why this works?
For example....
access-list aclname extended permit ip 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 10.100.1.0 255.255.255.0
shouldn't the subnet masks be inverted?
