I'm not looking for something like a backup - but more something along the lines of a mirrored server solution (fail-over option). I have backups but those could take longer than 2 hours to restore from (especially if they are offsite) so I'm looking to just lower that window of time that it takes till we are up. Looking for something Open Source or something cheaper than 7K. Its for a simple server running Windows 2008, DHCP, DNS, Files Server. I've looked at VMware as a possible solution but I believe that would require too much of an upfront cost to get the required hardware...
Any suggestions?
