So I have been given the opportunity to select a new solution for our security software on my network. I currently have Symantec Endpoint 11 and we are not happy with it. The detection rates are not great, it seems to slow down computers that it is installed on and when a computer get infected I end up using something like Malwarebytes to clean it anyway.
So I have been looking at Microsoft's Forefront (I use security essentals on my home pcs and it works well.), Kaspersky Products (I have hear good things about it but no personal experience with it.) and a few others.
Now that you have a bit of back story I was wondering how to sort though the "shit" on these sites and find out what the best would be for my environment? How do you test out new software before you purchase it? Are there any review site any of you could recommend? Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.
TL;DR: Looking for new security software but having a hard time finding the right information about different products.
