I'd like /r/syadmins opinion on connecting a server running Solaris 10 to an OpenSolaris storage server. The storage server is used for infrequently accessed files and is currently connected to the main server via a single gigabit crossover cable.
This setup has been very reliable, but I'd like to speed up the connection. I have no fiber switch, so I'm limited to ethernet. I can setup a link aggregation, but I was wondering what would be better for an iSCSI connection — an aggregate link or a multi-pathed link?
Ideas? Thoughts? Flames?
